2025 was a historic year as we crowned our first ever feline - Rufus the Cat! Against all odds, he went head to head with 19 incredible pups and came out on top, making history as the first cat to ever win Pooch Playoffs. Who will take the crown this year?

Welcome to our fourth annual Pet Playoffs competition! Receive an exclusive pet portrait and give back to The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth!
This bracket-style competition is for the Cutest Pet in Waterloo Region. The donation to enter is $100 and all proceeds go directly to the charity.
Each contestant will receive a goodie bag of items donated by local sponsors. They will also receive a photographic gift from Janelle Joy Studios and the chance to win additional prizes.
