Congratulations to our Ulti-Mutt Cutie… Rufus the Cat!
Against all odds, Rufus battled 19 incredible pups in the Pooch Playoffs and came out on top as our first-ever feline champion! This is truly a first for the competition!
Together, we raised $2,230 for the Humane Society this year, bringing our 3-year total to $5,664!

Welcome to our third annual Pet Playoffs competition! Receive an exclusive pet portrait and give back to The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth!
This bracket-style competition is for the Cutest Pet in Waterloo Region. The donation to enter is $100 and all proceeds go directly to the charity.
Each contestant will receive a goodie bag of items donated by local sponsors. They will also receive a photographic gift from Janelle Joy Studios and the chance to win additional prizes.
Entry into Pooch Playoffs is officially closed for 2025. Voting begins Monday, March 17th, 2025!
